Our workshops are different:

• ​Mini-lectures and hands-on working sessions
  
• Lots of peer and expert mentoring from other community members and corporate staff
• Involve real ideas and inventions
• Focus on objectivity, not "pitching and selling"
  

Through these workshops, we:

• Move deep research-based and early-stage technologies towards commercialization
• Build the foundational plans for new startup companies, internal corporate ventures, or licensing opportunities
• Provide experiential learning to enhance academic theories
• Neworks also trains entrepreneurial trainers on how to conduct and license our high-intensity workshops for their own use.
• We advise new idea committees on how to get better... or how to begin building more strategic and disciplined framework into the concept-stage of innovation.

Why we do it

Over the past 30 years of our involvement in entrepreneurship, innovation, startup companies, and deep-science technology commercialization, much has happened!  Thrillingly, mechanizing innovation has gained tremendous credibility.  In the early days, us "process" folks were in the minority. Often scoffed by wannabe entrepreneurs and newly minted business development professionals. Now days, it is widely accepted that repeatable tools deployed at the concept-stage greatly improve a raw idea's chance of success!

So many years! So many offerings! So many directions!

Our goal here is to highlight many of the tools and trainings that Neworks has developed and delivered over the years with the goal of reaching more people and organizations who want to be more proactive with their ideas!
